Fun Filled Fourth

We had a great 4th of July. The 4th is one of my favorite holidays. It ranks up there with Christmas. We started the day off at Grandmamma and Pappy's with breakfast. Then the games began. We have a new addiction....Wii. After I smoked everyone in bowling we took the kids (The Belle, The May, Margo, and Jude) out to play in the water hose. The girls were restless so we went home for a much needed nap. We went to Nana's and ordered pizza for dinner. Then we were off to the fireworks. We met Josh, Sarah, Margo and Jude at their house and then we walked down to the fireworks. It was so much fun. We had a nice grassy area where the kids could run and play while we waited for the festivities to begin. The fireworks were great. Our local radio station played patriotic music that synchronized with the fireworks. The kids loved it. The Belle said the fireworks were made out of stars and Margo thought they were made out of diamonds. We got home around 11:00 so, everyone was exhausted. It was a great day. I added some pics from the day.
