Three
Dear May,
You are three years old today. I can not believe how fast time has gone by. I know you are not technically the baby in the family but, for some reason I still think of you as my baby. You constantly keep me on my toes. You are such the mess maker. I don't think you intentionally make messes (although sometimes you do). It seems like you start off exploring with something and you wind up with a huge mess on your hands. When I discover your messes its hard for me not to lose it and other times its hard for me not to laugh. You are such the free spirit. I am always amazed at your imagination. You have no problem playing by yourself. It makes me bubble with joy inside when I hear you talking to your dolls (usually telling them what to do). It was you who gave the 3 of you girls your nicknames (Chlo Chlo, Moll Moll, and Lu Lu). You love to get a laugh out of people. It doesn't take much energy for you to do that because you can be so silly without even trying. You are not one to sit still for long. The only tv show I can get you to watch is "Little Bear". You and Duck are so much alike. You have turned into a big helper the past few months. When you are paying attention to your surroundings you wll quickly assist. For example, you will help get the diaper bag ready if we are going somewhere without being told to. You LOVE to help cook breakfast. You will get out all the ingredients and utensils before I even get out of bed. I sometimes wonder why it is that you were such a quiet baby and yet such a loud 3 year old. When you get upset the entire world knows about it and it is ear piercing. This usullay happens when you get hurt which happens frequently (you aren't very graceful). You are known for your sweet tooth. There aren't many sweets that you turn down and it always shows on your face and clothes. It's difficult for me to get a picture of you clean. I call you my vegetarian. Your favorite foods are cereal, yogurt, mac and cheese, and salad. It's rare for you to eat any type of meat. Which is so very frustrating when we are out. You order yogurt at McDonald's and then you don't understand why you didn't get a toy in the happy meal. You also don't seem to understand why all restaurant don't serve yogurt. You are a unique little girl and you leave me speechless the majority of the time. I hope you have a very happy third birthday. You are a gift from God and I treasure every moment I have with you. Moll Moll, I luj you with all my heart! Momma

Whirlwind
You would not believe the weekend we have had. But, you are about to find out about it. Friday I ran around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get reunion stuff and The May's birthday stuff together. Reunion festivities began Friday night. We met at Beef O' Brady's where the craziness began. The place was packed and we had our 3 girls in tow. Husband and I knew there was no way we would be able to eat so we just ordered food for the girls. Once The May dumped out an entire glass of water, it was downhill from there. It got to the point where I took them out to the van. By the time we got home I had the worst headache I have EVER had (I am sure it was due to the lack of food and sleep). I woke up to the same headache Saturday morning..but, it didn't slow me down. I got The Belle and The May out the door just in time to get to gym. I put The Lynn down for a nap and got to work. I was like a machine getting all the birthday food ready. The May had a blast at her party (I will try to post pics. this week). After the party my mom took the girls to another birthday party while Husband and I got ready for the reunion. The reunion was nice but I was still fighting a massive headache. By the time we picked up the girls and got them to sleep it was 10:15. I am so thankful that I woke up this morning feeling better. The May did not wake up until 10:00 this morning so we didn't make it to Sunday School. But, we frantically rushed around to get ready for church. We threw everything and everyone in the van in just enough time to get to church. As Husband put the van in reverse and I buckeld my seatbelt, The Belle threw up all over herself. Talk about the air being lifted out of your sails. So, Husband put it in park and we unloaded. The Belle is now taking a nap (which she NEVER does). I am sure the poor girl is exhausted from the whirlwind events of the weekend. I know I am! The next several weekends are going to be just a crazy. So tune in for more.

I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried
The Belle has never been a good sleeper (and unfortunately, I think The Lynn is following in her footsteps). When we moved The May out of her crib into a big girl bed she also became a non-sleeper. Only until recently has she slept through the night in her big girl bed. So, to encourage the girls to stay in their beds all night we started a sleep chart. Each night that they sleep in their own bed they receive a sticker on the chart. After they get 7 stickers they get to choose anything they want from the dollar store. Well, The May got her 7th sticker this morning! YAY! The Belle only has 3 stickers. Every morning The Belle has an excuse to why she couldn't "close her eyes" (her words) when she wakes up in the middle of the night and must resort to our bedroom floor. Tuesday morning she explained that she couldn't go back to sleep because she imagined (dreamed) about a white duck and it scared her. Yesterday morning she explained that she imagined about a scary skunk and she had a towel over her face. When she tried to close her eyes she could only see circles so she had to come in our room. SHEESH! It may take 4 months for her to get 7 stickers.
I have debated about posting what happened last night. I am afraid some of you may turn me into the authorities. But, this is something I want to document for the future. So here it goes. When we got home from church last night the big girls were exhausted. I told both of them to go potty and get straight into the bathtub while I got their pj's together. Husband had not eaten supper before church so he was trying to quickly scarf down something to eat. When I returned to the bathroom I found The Lynn playing in the little potty! Not only was she splashing around in The May's pee pee, but she was sucking on the toilet paper out of the potty! I know, I know, I can hear all of you gagging as you are reading. Believe me I was on the verge of losing my cookies. The crazy thing is...she was actually enjoying it. UGHH! I threw her into the tub with the girls and tried to somewhat brush her 4 teeth and gums. So, if you don't see any posts for a while that means Children Services has locked me up. Hopefully, they won't come before Saturday: The May's 3rd birthday party and our 10 year reunion!

If I Had To Choose...
Roseola has made a visit to our house (well, at least that is what I have diagnosed them with). The Lynn ran high fever (103.5) Tuesday night. She woke up Wednesday morning with rash. The May ran fever yesterday and slept for 13.5 hours last night. Please hear me out.....I do not want my kids to be sick but, roseola is one of the easiest viruses. No throw up, no diarrhea, and no snot. Which means no medicine (other than tylenol for the fever). And the best part; they are so sweet, they just want to lay and love on ya. I tried to force them to lay with me this morning....and neither would have anything to do with that. Bye, Roseola!

Where does she get this stuff from?
I'm telling ya, The May is in her own world. This morning she was calling The Lynn "baby Allison". She doesn't even know anyone named Allison. As The Lynn was crawling away from her she kept yelling "come back here baby Allison". I asked her who baby Allsion was and she said "your baby Momma." She also has a "friend" that rides in the van with us. Her name is Katie. I told her Katie had to live in the van because I couldn't take on anymore kids.

Just In Case You Were Wondering.....
Magic eraser will take black permanent marker off of your oak dresser. And yes, the child who wrote ALL OVER the dresser received a spanking.

Rested!
Life is so much better when you are well rested! The Lynn went to sleep at 9:00 (and so did I) and she slept until 4:20 this morning! She went right back to sleep after her bottle and woke up at 7:00! Yes folks, that means I had 7 hours of uninerrupted sleep. I can not tell you how excited I was when I woke up. Even better news: no one else has been sick! I just knew that The Belle shared her throw up virus with the rest of us. So far so good...everyone is healthy. Other than chasing The Lynn (she is the fastest crawler I have ever seen) it has been a really good day. The Lynn loves to crawl wherever the big girls are. She especially likes to follow The May. This causes all sorts of problems. Everytime The Lynn goes missing I find her and The May up to no good. It usually consists of The May performing some sort of medical treatment (checking her ears, listening to her heart, weighing her, etc.) on her or feeding her. I have caught The Lynn eating all sorts of things that The May has given to her. Poor girl if she makes it to her 1st birthday unharmed it will be a miracle! Speaking of birthdays we are counting down to The May's 3rd birthday at the end of the month. A trip to party city is in the near future so she can choose her birthday theme. Can you believe it my baby is going to be 3!

Mama said...
Today has been one of those days. Let me begin with last night. The Lynn was up at 11:30 (seriously, when is that girl going to sleep thru the night?). The Belle was up at 1:00 complaining of a headache. The Lynn was up again at 3:00 and then again at 6:00. The Belle woke up at 6:30 still complaining of a headache followed by throwing up several times. Sheesh! I am so bummed that I didn't get to go to my bible study. It is noon and I am sitting outside while the girls are playing. I haven't had a shower in about 30 hours and my old make up is still on from yesterday, oh and I am wearing a bathing suit cover up.....nice. I am so glad I don't have neighbors. The Belle acts as if nothing is or has been wrong with her. So, weird. Husband has a meeting after school today so there is no telling what time he will be home (poor guy is still recovering from his "procedure"). I will try to have a more uplifting and positive post tomorrow....cross my heart.

Better Him Than Me
Without going into too much detail, my dear sweet Husband has a minor procedure today. Lets just say pro-creation in this family will end today. Thats right his last name ends here (3 girls).
